Town of Newtown Zoning Board of Appeals Regular Meeting
The board heard and approved a variance application for a garage setback modification. The board also conducted a detailed deliberation on multiple violations related to a property, specifically concerning agritourism activities, animal housing, manure storage, pig farm classification, and home occupation size limits. The board upheld most violations but granted an extension until June 30, 2027, for the homeowner to rectify housing and storage issues, and determined that the property was not operating as a pig farm.
