Tgu School Board Meeting
The school board meeting agenda includes reorganization with the election of a president and vice-president, and recognition of a newly elected member. Administrative business will cover the approval of minutes, bills and financial reports for the school district and Head Start. Old and new business will be discussed, including a return to learning plan, various appointments and authorizations (business manager, superintendent for federal programs, hiring/termination of non-licensed employees, homeless and foster care liaisons, official newspaper, depository, and district attorney), and an annual policy and regulation review covering several topics such as discrimination, harassment, tobacco use, acceptable use, bullying, whistleblower protections, board ethics, meetings, public participation, compensation, board communication, restraint/seclusion, student drug use, and personnel complaints. Additional agenda items include a parent and family engagement policy review, handbook updates, meal and fee schedules, a pledge of securities, an ADM report, contracts, a PII request, and student school board members. Finally, reports will be given by student board members, the superintendent, and representatives from Towner and Granville schools and Head Start.
