The Lton City Council held a special meeting where they approved a consent agenda. The primary business involved addressing dilapidated properties located at various addresses in the city. The council deliberated on whether to abate nuisances, continue hearings, or deny permit extensions for property rehabilitation. Several properties were tabled to a future date to allow owners time to address maintenance and permitting requirements, while demolition bids were authorized for other dilapidated structures where no progress had been made. Additionally, the council formalised the appointment of a meeting chair.
