The discussion centered on resolving inconsistencies regarding driveway sizes, specifically addressing requests for non-standard larger driveway approaches and whether to grandfather existing dimensions or charge homeowners for variances. Key outcomes included a determination to allow driveway approaches to be replaced at their current size, with a minimum width of 12 feet, without additional assessment increases for homeowners. The group also discussed future documentation requirements, engineering considerations for sidewalk thickness, and the potential for establishing a formal variance process.
