AI Experience - Modern Engineering: Accelerating Software Development in Government 2026

Federal agencies are at an inflection point with AI. The AI Experience at The Forge helps federal leaders meet the moment, so they can deliver on the promise of AI to transform their missions. Here, you can uncover the possibilities of AI through live demos of federal-ready tools, get hands-on with mission-relevant AI technology, and learn how to accelerate your path to AI adoption. This session will dive into how AI integration into the software development life cycle is automating the modernization of legacy code and securing cloud operations. Attendees will get hands-on with AI-native engineering tools and demos from AWS, Anthropic, Google, Harness, Istari, Siemens, and Wiz. The event will explore how AI is fundamentally changing the speed and economics of legacy code modernization in a keynote session, and focus on shifting from manual oversight to automated governance by integrating AI into CI/CD pipelines to ensure every deployment is compliant, cost-optimized, and resilient by design.
