Feasibility Study for Public-Private Partnership (P3) to Implement (Request for Proposal)

Description: Seeks to implement strategic, innovative solutions that create seamless mobility proximate to the Contra Costa I-680 corridor. In 2023, CCTA adopted its Shared Mobility Hubs Final Report, representing the culmination of a 3-year project to articulate a vision, identify feasible sites, and publish a policy and technical toolkit, for the development of Contra Costa shared mobility hubs. More recently, CCTA along with Contra Costa transit operators, initiated the countywide ITP, which will provide technical and planning guidance for guiding investments to implement a robust and cohesive transit network that connects all major activity centers and regional hubs in Contra Costa County. At the regional level, the 2021 MTC Mobility Hub Implementation Playbook also lends relevant elements for future Contra Costa mobility hubs, including site evaluation methods, typologies, amenities and “kit of parts”, in addition to recognizable, approachable branding, design, and wayfinding principles crucial to user engagement and utility.
