High resolution displacement probes
NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center needs high-resolution displacement sensors and related hardware for partial cryocooler testing in pressurized cryogenic nitrogen. The requirement covers six sensor packages, calibration of five probes to a 0.4-inch rotor and one to a flat target, and shipping, with specified dimensional, pressure, temperature, bandwidth, and resolution requirements. The work is a sole-source requirement with performance at Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama.
